May 7th Releases on My TBR List

There was a huge number of highly-anticipated books released today (May 7th), and many of them have been on my radar for some time! While I probably won’t get to all of them anytime soon, there are a few that I hope to read in the near future:

  1. Middlegame by Seanan McGuire

I preordered this book a few days ago and it arrived in the mail today! I’m ashamed to say that I’ve never read a Seanan McGuire book, but this book sounds so unique and interesting. I can’t wait to dive in!

  2. The Bride Test by Helen Hoang

This was my Book of the Month pick and it arrived in the mail yesterday. It is a standalone, but has characters from The Kiss Quotient, one of my favorite books that ย I read last year! Hopefully I get to this one soon.

  3. Furious Hours: Murder, Fraud, and the Last Trial of Harper Lee by Casey Cep

As a True Crime documentary fanatic, I’ve been on the search for a good True Crime book to read. This book is about the murder of Harper Lee, the author of To Kill a Mockingbird (one of my favorite books of all time). I’ve heard nothing but good things so far, so I definitely plan on checking this out.

  4. Again, But Better by Christine Riccio

I was approved for an eARC on Netgalley and unfortunately haven’t been able to get to this book. I’m hoping to read it sometime over the next couple of weeks!

  5. Romanov by Nadine Brandes

This was another eARC that I’ve slacked on reading, but its really enjoyable so far! I hope to have this one read and reviewed sometime in the next week or so.

Happy Reading!
